What you people think is
wrong. By dominating others will spread hate, discrimination and fake ideology of considering Pushto speakers as superiors
to others. Can this lead Pushtuns to success? ANP can never lead the nation as it hates others specially Hazarwals. Taking profit
from Tarbela Dam on Hazara soil and opposing Kalabagh dam ? Depriving Hindko speakers of their due right
and respect? will not work.Pushtuns shall prepare themselves for
further division of Pukhtunkhwa as Yousafzaikhwa, Kakaristan and Afridia.
ANP can work on love, brotherhood
and development works but instead they promote hate on linguistic basis. Places where there is no difference between right
and wrong will face disaster soon.

comments: I am a Pushtun living in Hazara. Pukhtunkhwa name is our genuine Right. In Hazara there are hindko speaking people as well as Pushto speaking. The
Hindko speaking shall not oppose the name of Pukhtunkhwa and shall live happily alongside their Pushtun brothers.

Okay good explanation but you are no different than all the other closed minded people of our province. I am
from Hazara and speak Hindko but have close ties to Pushto speaker. Half of my family speaks the language. It’s sad
that Pushto speakers and others such as Hindko speakers are stuck on these kinds of ideology. This is the reason we lost our Bangladesh because the enemies know
we can never be united. All the information that you have given is good but at the same time other ethnicity can debate in
the same manners. For God sake let’s not break our countryin pieces because so many people have given their lives for this beautiful land.
I am a Pathan, Pukhtun, Punjabi, Sindhi, Baluch, I am a PAKISTANI.

comments: The agreement over the name of Pushtunkhwa is happy news. This is good for Pakistan and for the province of
Pushtunkhwa in particular. It will help to minimize the grievances of the people of the province. This issue will
also be no more used for emotional politics and the parties of the province will focus on the people oriented
issues.

Renaming of Frontier Province
The former Prime Minister Mr. Nawaz Sharif recently
remarked in a childish way regarding Pushtunkhwa
issue, which cannot be expected from a leader of his stature. He
has altogether ignored the basic facts regarding the matter or he may be ignorant of the basic facts which is a lame excuse. But here are some basic facts regarding the matter. Pushtuns
are the second largest ethnic group of Pakistan according to the census of 1998 conducted during the government of Nawaz Sharif, which clearly shows that Pushtuns are in majority in NWFP and the remaining nationalities
are in minority.
According
to the census, Pakistan is comprised of the following ethnic groups:
Punjabis (44.15% of the population)
Pushtuns (15.42% of the population)
Sindhis (14.1% of the population)
Seraikis (10.53% of the population)
Muhajirs (7.57% of the population. Indian
immigrants)
Baloch (3.57% of the population)
Others
(4.66% of the population).
Now the three ethnic groups have got
their own names, not on geographical grounds but
on their nationality basis. But unlike them, Pushtuns, being the second largest ethnic group of Pakistan, have still been deprived of its due right to be called also on the grounds of nationality. Pushtuns
are viewed, considered and called by their outward physical appearance, but
not what they actually are, thereby showing the biased and prejudiced attitude of self-centred leaders towards the matter. Secondly,
people of different calibre and stature are proposing various names for the province. The names proposed by different stake-holders are Abaseen,
Khyber, Afghania,Pukhtunistan, Pukhtunkhwa,
and now Neelab etc.Abaseen, Khyber, and
Neelab are irrelevant names and not suitable therefore notacceptable
to majority of Pushtuns and the proposed names do not represent the whole
Pushtuns of NWFP, because Khyber is a name of mountain and Abaseen is ariver. Pushtuns
are of course conservative, hard, robust and firm like mountains and progressive,
clear, soft and hospitable like rivers. But yet there are more qualities
which have to be represented by the name which we are going to propose for the province. And it can only be represented well by the names like Afghania
(proposed by Chaudhry Rahmat Ali) Pukhtunistan
(proposed by ANP) and Pukhtunkhwa (proposed by PKMAP and ANP). These
names are acceptable due to the reason that they represent the whole Pushtun nation of NWFP and not a part or portion of it. Pushtunkhwa
is not a meaningless name. It has a reasonable meaning which means "Territory
of Pushtuns". It is a pure Pushtun word while Pukhtunistan is not a pure Pushtun word. It may be meaningless to those who do not know the Pashto language or who are hostile to Pushtuns.
